Easter Bird and Easter Bunny
On the eve of the holiday of Easter, I had an idea about what can be done for the holiday, besides traditional Easter cakes and painting eggs, for decoration. And it occurred to me to make Easter bunny toys, a bird and an open cross that can bring pleasant changes to life. For making them, I took blue fabric, threads, ruffles, needles for stabbing, filler (cotton), rhinestones of blue and red, cardboard, nail polish of yellow and pink flowers, as well as a folder - folder, paper tape, scissors, reliable glue, two white beads, transparent beads and blue fabric. Starting work, I cut out from paper samples of future toys that need later will be divided into separate parts. These parts will need to be pinned to a blue fabric and cut parts from it with a small indent (from 0.5 cm.):Next, I take paper samples from fabric and divide the detail of the bird's body into two parts, then I cut two parts out of cardboard for making the beak:After that, I sew four pieces of the body of the toy, forming two sides and I paint the details of the beak. I paint one side of the parts of the beak (upper) with yellow varnish, and the other (lower) side is pink. You can take nail polish:When the varnish is dry, you can sew both parts of the body, putting inside the details of the beak. Then it will be possible to sew the wings, leaving small sections of them not sewn together in order to then turn the craft out of the inside. After I finish the work on sewing the birds, I will take up the sewing of the rabbit. also stitching with a small indent. During the work, the details of his ears I sew to the head, and the details of the paws - to the body:Next, I turn the parts out of seamy side and stick as an eye to the heads of hand-made rhinestones of blue color. For a rabbit, I choose one rhinestone in red as the nose and embroider with pink floss threads in my mouth. After that, I will fill both crafts with cotton:When both crafts are filled with cotton, I will take a ruffled fabric:After stitching cotton-filled details of the paws, I attach them to the rabbit, after which I divide the ruffled fabric into two parts and sew it to the toys:
In order for the ruffled fabric to keep its position on the craft, it can be hemmed to the fabric of the craft itself:Next, I sew a thin strip of synthetic blue fabric along the length of the toy rabbit's neck:Now I sew my head with the body of a toy and sew a thin strip on its neck. The second thin strip will be necessary for the toy in order to support one of its ears:Taking the Easter Bird, I sew it wings:After that, I sew up a hole in the toy bird through which cotton was inserted into it. When to rabbit will be stitched white I am a bead, and to a bird - frills and wings, they will look like this together:For the bird, you will also need to do a thin strip of blue fabric with a bead, but for now I’m starting to make an openworked cross figure. To make it, I take a blue sheet from the old folder - folder and cut it into many thin strips:I glue these strips together in the form of petals with paper tape:Creating shapes of openwork petals, I make 4 large figures, 4" medium "and 8 small ones, which a little later, forming a cross, I glue together with a reliable glue:Next, I cut off a small part of the magnetic plate to glue it to the cross. From the plate, I separate the paper surface with the image, leaving a small a layer of paper in order to glue the magnet more reliably to the areas of the figure wrapped in paper tape:Now I stick a magnet to the cross figurine with reliable glue. Such a small piece of magnet is quite enough for the figure to keep well on the iron surface:After that, I sew thin strip of blue fabric for a toy bird and decorate this strip with a bead. You can glue rhinestones for decoration to the shape of a cross: After this, both my Easter crafts will be ready:
