Suzanne Steinbaum, MD, is an attending cardiologist and director of women’s heart health at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. She has done fellowship training in both cardiology and preventive cardiology. Dr. Steinbaum recently released her book Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum’s Heart Book: Every Woman’s Guide to a Heart Healthy Life, which teaches all women how to lead the healthiest lives by living from the heart. She’s also the host of WLNYTV’s Focus on Health, a weekly magazine news show spotlighting health topics. Steinbaum has been named a New York Times Super Doctor and a Castle and Connolly Top Doctor for Cardiovascular Disease. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a national spokesperson for the Go Red for Women campaign, and chairperson of Go Red for Women in New York City.
