How did the music come about?
Trying to answer the question of how the music appeared, I recall the words from the children's song: “Where did the music come from in the song?” The music responds: “I am jumping over stones in a creek ...” Yes, indeed, we can say that the first music was sounds of nature.
The history of music has been studied for a long time. Even in antiquity, people tried to explain its origin. The ancient Greeks believed that the music was sent to them by the gods. In the Bible, there is a mention of the blacksmith Juval - the founder of modern musicians.
However, scientists, answering the question of where music came from, based on archaeological research, proved that it originated during the primitive communal system.
In primitive society, music was not entertainment. It was inextricably linked with the lives and occupations of people. Women cradled their babies, singing the first lullabies. With the sounds of horns, the shepherds called a herd. Hunters and warriors inspired themselves before the battle.
The main feature of the music of that time was rhythm.Beating the rhythm, clapping or tapping, a person performed chants during ritual rituals.
Of course, ancient music was far from perfect. She was not so melodious, smooth and beautiful. The first people began to invent the first music, imitating the sounds of nature. Listening to the singing of birds, the cries of animals, the murmur of water in a stream, drumming during rain, the man tried to reproduce the melody he heard. Therefore, the first songs rather resembled the sounds of the world.
Having learned how to extract sounds from surrounding objects - stones, wooden, iron sticks, a man invented the first musical instruments. Drums, whistles, horns - were prototypes of percussion and wind instruments of our modernity.
