You can add a spoonful of sugar to enhance the fermentation process, and after 5 minutes pour 3-4 tablespoons of flour. Mix everything thoroughly and place in a warm place for fermentation.
For the test you will need:
- 2 liters of finished sourdough,
- 600 grams of flour,
- 4 eggs,
- 2 cups sugar
- 70 grams of butter or margarine
- a teaspoon of salt.
How to make the dough for pie
As soon as the dough begins to settle, add salt, sugar, eggs to the container and, gradually adding the sifted flour, begin kneading dough. The dough is considered well kneaded when it stops sticking to the hands. At the end, add melted, but not hot, butter.
After kneading the dough, cover the container with a clean towel and place in a warm place.The dough will begin to rise in the first 15-20 minutes, it must be kneaded three times in the first hour and once in the next two to three hours. Put the finished dough on a cutting board made of flour and let it come up a bit.
Traditionally, the pie is made with a multilayer filling, which can be fish, meat or vegetable.
Recipe filling for pie
The multilayer kulebyaki involves the separation of various fillings in layers so that when the pie is cut, they are clearly visible. To do this, in the process of assembling the stuffing rolls, shift the baked pancakes in advance.
Prepare the meat stuffing for the pie as follows: pass the meat through a meat grinder. Fry the minced meat in a frying pan. Separately fry onions. Mix the minced meat and onions, salt and pepper.
Prepare rice stuffing: boil rice in salted water, drain, mix with chopped eggs, if desired, add green onions.
The third filling can be potato. For her, boil the potatoes, drain and dry, mince. Crushed potatoes are not used, the texture of the product will not be felt.In the resulting potato mass, add the fried mushrooms with onions. If necessary, salt.
The last filling is cabbage. Finely chop fresh cabbage, mash it with salt and fry in fat in a pan until cooked. Mix cabbage with chopped eggs, green onions, salt and pepper.

Your pie will look like a large rectangular cake, however, you can make it round.

How to bake a pie
Grease a baking sheet with oil and place the pie seam down on it, provided that you have not used its decorating techniques.
Make a few punctures with a fork so that steam will come out of the pie during baking. Grease the cake with whipped yolk and place for 20 minutes in a preheated oven. After removing the pie from the oven, let it cool, then cut into portions, place them on a flat dish.
