The illuminated switch is a more advanced version of a conventional electric switch, which is additionally equipped with a built-in neon or LED light bulb. The lamp lights up when the breaker contacts open and indicates its location at night. Agree, it is very convenient.

If the lamp in your room is equipped with ordinary incandescent bulbs, a switch with an LED indicator will suit you. If you use lamps with LED or energy-saving lamps, buy a switch with a neon light better. If you install the device with an LED, your lamps will glow or flicker in the dark.

The installation of this type of switch in principle is no different from the installation of a conventional switch. Simply locate the wiring from the indicator on your switch and insert them into the switch terminals, parallel to the neutral and phase wires of the power supply cable.
