How to draw a swallow?

All probably at least once in my life have seen a swallow. How to draw a swallow, tell our article.

Swallows have a specific forked tail. These forked parts are practically straight. They diverge at an angle of 30 °. Also, the length of her tail is the same as the length of her torso with her head. The short feathers of its tail reach the middle of the long feathers. The wingspan is equal to the length of the tail and torso.

Drawing process

In order to determine the location of the wings, it is necessary to divide the length of the head, torso and tail into half. The line from the beak to the middle of the body is also divided in half. So you get the upper and lower edge of its wings. The upper edge of the wings will be held perpendicular to the body of the swallow. The length of the wing in the upper part is approximately equal to the thickness of the swallow itself.

Now you need to draw a line that is perpendicular to the body, and put on it the necessary length of segments. Next you need to hold another perpendicular - in a place where there will be the lower edge of its wings.

The length of the wing in its lower part is approximately equal to the length of the body of the swallow. Now you need to postpone the segments of the required length. The part of the lower edge of the wings, which is closer to the body, should be parallel to the upper edge, then the wing bends down. That is why you need to draw a curve of the required length and connect the top edge with the bottom edge of the wings. Now you can draw feathers on the wings.
