Installing an infrared film floor
Fashion for today's interior design dictates its own terms and conditions. Therefore, many without thinking about the consequences at all, following the modern trends, and in order to increase the living space, they unite the balcony with the room, remove the interior doors and completely remove the partitions. On the one hand, the premises significantly increase, which is an undoubted advantage, but on the other hand, with the arrival of cold weather in the room it becomes much cooler than before. To create a comfortable temperature regime, many use electric heating appliances as additional heating, such as: fireplaces, heaters, etc. But the thermal effect of them is not significant, and the electricity consumption is solid. Quickly and qualitatively, it helps to solve the problem that has arisen when installing an infrared film floor, provided that the laminate is laid in the room. This type of heating can be put into operation in just one day, whilewithout causing serious damage to the appearance of the room. Installation of a film floor in this case will look like this: 1) Free all space of the balcony from furniture.2) Remove the baseboard around the perimeter.3) Carefully dismantle the laminate by signing each board to facilitate its installation back.4) Remove the entire substrate, under the laminate.5) Decide on the installation location of the front panel. If the number of strips of the shoulder floor is small, you can take power for the thermostat from the nearest outlet. For clarity, mark the diameter of the future hole on the wall, as well as markup for the floor sensor and the eclectic connecting cable.6) Stitch an outline of the desired size and a hole for a future temperature controller. Install all necessary wires. For quick drying, cover the canvas with gypsum plaster. 7) Choose a specialized substrate for a warm floor, the thickness of the previous one. This is to exclude when laying laminate back the formation of irregularities (the transition from a thinner substrate to a thicker).Lay out the substrate on the entire free area. If necessary, connect its individual parts with reflective tape.8) Lay the strip of infrared captive floor on the free area of the room according to the instructions.9) Connect all the strips to each other with a cable of the appropriate section. The thickness of the cable in each case is selected individually, based on the total capacity of the floor heating system. Test the performance of elements. Each of the strips should warm up well within 10-15 minutes. 10) To avoid moisture ingress on the electric elements of the heated floorManufacturers recommend covering it with medium-density plastic wrap.12) The thermostat is installed according to the attached connection diagram.13) After checking the performance of the floor heating system, you can begin laying the laminate. It fits according to the standard scheme. At the final stage, install the baseboards. You can fully use the system underfloor heating immediately after finishing the flooring installation. Initially, it is recommended to set the temperature above 30 degrees on the thermostat. And after warming up the room to a comfortable temperature regime (depending on the temperature on the street and inside it may take several hours to several days), switch the thermostat to 23-27 degrees.
